Managing Director

Alex formed the company in early 2017 after having worked for a variety of instrumentation suppliers and a Noise and Vibration consultancy.  With his many years of experience he decided to launch Safety Monitors to bring back some of what he saw missing in the market; a focus on specialist instrumentation knowledge and the capabilities to provide information quickly online and 24 hours a day on the phone.


Operations Manager

Debbie joined the company in January 2018 to take on the challenge initially of achieving ISO9001 she is well on her way to achieving that goal for 2019.  Debbie comes from a much more corporate background in insurance and has brought her meticulous administration, managerial and fantastic communications skills to Safety Monitors.


Finance Manager

Having formerly worked as a contractor for Safety Monitors Lisa came on to the team full time in January 2020 and we are very pleased to have her on board.

Lisa comes with a wealth of experience from a broad range of companies.


Sales Manager

Mark joined in June 2019 taking over the mantle as Sales Manager.  Mark has worked for a variety of Gas Detection companies and comes with a wealth of experience in . both portable and fixed gas detection. 


Customer Service Manager

Carol joined us in October 2019 having been a integral member of the B&Q Team.  Carol brings with her unparalleled customer support and a passion for providing excellent customer service.  


Service Engineer

Phil joined the team in April 2019 and has taken over looking after both fixed and portable gas detection service and calibration.  Phil comes from a background in site engineering solutions and with many years of site servicing under his belt takes our service team to the next level.
