The Protégé SG is a reusable single gas monitor that can be configured to detect 13 gases which provides maximum flexibility to deal with unknown gas hazards. With interchangeable smart sensors, including both low power IR and electrochemical options, the Protégé SG offers maximum versatility in a reusable solution.
The plug-and-play swappable smart sensors allow a single monitor to detect several different toxic and combustible gases, supporting multiple applications. Users can change sensors on the go and the monitor will automatically recognise the sensor type and update the gas label on the display. The versatility of the SG allows users to efficiently manage their time. No programming is required when switching sensors.
EASY TO USE:
With one-button activation, adjustable alarm settings and an easy-to-read, multi-language display, the Protégé SG is intuitive and user-friendly. Turn it on, and the monitor does the rest. With data logging of up to 5,000 events and a customisable LCD display capable of displaying real-time gas readings, the Protégé SG is packed with features and functionality, but requires minimal training. The Protégé SG is highly versatile and allows the user to configure the monitor based on their application or specific company requirements.
DURABLE AND RELIABLE:
The Protégé SG is available in IP66/67 ingress protection. Using a Lithium replaceable battery provides service life of 1.5 to 2 years for toxic sensors and two months for Low Power LEL. The sturdy case can withstand the rigours of most industrial environments and is reliable in operating temperatures of -20°C to +50. The Protégé SG performs self-diagnostics at start-up giving users confidence to focus on the job. Turn it on and forget about it.
